We’ve introduced a new feature to the Bunkhouse, a choice of food prepared for you, based on the menus we provide for teams staying for training sessions.
We are offering a simple low-cost, high-carb menu with things like baked potatoes and fillings, pasta with different fillings and sauces, crusty bread, yoghurt and mixed salad.
Just contact us at least 4 days in advance of your stay to arrange the menu and confirm pricing.
We’re in the process of adding CCTV feeds to the television in the kitchen at the Bunk House, so that if you’re a keen ornithologist you’ll be able to keep an eye on not just the Tweed Valley ospreys, but herons, blue tits and owls.
More information once it’s ready.
We’ve taken pictures of the new extension which really opens up the ground floor of the Bunkhouse, giving flexible seating and eating arrangements, whether you’re staying as a whole group, or sharing.
You can now walk through the kitchen or the sitting room into the new combined seating/eating area.
We hope you can come and enjoy it soon!

We’ve added an extension to the Bunkhouse which almost doubles the size of the kitchen and living area, new photographs coming later this week!
The new Kailzie Bunkhouse opened on 21st August 2008.
Downstairs we have 3 bunkrooms with 2 bunks in each (2 x 4 person rooms, 1 x 5 person) all with either shower rooms or bathrooms en-suite.
Upstairs are 2 dormitory style rooms with bunks and single beds sleeping 6 or 7 people, each also with a shower room – so a maximum of 26 people.
